O que fazer no Rocio?
Pedra do Bonet
A trilha para a Pedra do Bonet oferece uma das vistas mais incríveis da região. Localizada na fronteira entre Petrópolis e Duque de Caxias, seu ponto mais alto atinge 1.552 metros de altitude, proporcionando um panorama privilegiado da Reserva Biológica do Tinguá e de muitas montanhas. Apesar de ser uma trilha relativamente curta (cerca de 45 minutos), ela é íngreme e com alguns trechos erodidos, exigindo atenção.
Dica: No inverno onde o clima fica ameno e o céu é bem limpo, leve um chocolate quente para tomar e apreciar um maravilhoso pôr do sol ou nascer do sol também, se preferir.
Lembre-se por ser uma trilha, o que subir com você, volta com você!
Como chegar: Entrando na região do Rocio pelo KM 76 da BR 040 sentido Rio, você deve seguir por cerca de 7,1 KM até encontrar a placa que indica o início da trilha na Estr. Vargem Grande, 2724-3278 – Fazenda Inglesa, Petrópolis – RJ. (Acesse aqui para abrir o mapa da localização).
Para quem vai de ônibus: A linha é 101/Rocio a partir da rodoviária do Bingen e aqui você pode verificar os horários da linha.
Poço Negro ou “Poção”
Ao contrário do que se imagina da cidade imperial, Petrópolis é repleta de refúgios naturais, e o Poço Negro é um dos mais conhecidos na região do Rocio. Suas águas, que dependendo da posição do sol, adquirem um tom de verde exuberante, são cristalinas e refrescantes. O acesso é feito por uma trilha curta e discreta, à beira da estrada.
Uma dica importante: Para uma experiência mais tranquila, prefira visitar o poço de segunda a sexta, pois nos fins de semana o número de visitantes é bem maior.
Como chegar: Após entrar na Estrada do Rocio pelo KM 76 da BR-040 (sentido Rio), siga por cerca de 4,5 km. Ao chegar em uma ponte, vire à direita em uma rua estreita. Siga até um pequeno recuo para estacionar, e a trilha estará logo em frente.

Bônus: Vale do Amor
O Vale do Amor é um santuário em meio as montanhas da serra idealizado com a intenção de diferentes religiões coexistirem. Por lá há referencias ao taoísmo, budismo, cristianismo e hinduísmo. Alguns atrativos de lá são: Jardins de Yin-Yang, Igrejinha de Francisco e Clara, Altar de Ganesha, dentre outros. O local também sedia eventos e retiros, para saber mais detalhes, siga santuariovaledoamor para ficar por dentro do calendário de eventos. Para adeptos a yoga e meditação, o local é perfeito e repleto de muita natureza em volta.
Como chegar: Siga pela BR-040 (sentido Rio) e entre na Fazenda Inglesa após cerca de 3 km. Atravesse a ponte, mantenha-se à esquerda na Rua Frederico Guilherme Emmel e, em seguida, na Estrada Mata Cavalo por cerca de 2,5 km de estrada de terra, até o Vale.
Importante: Se for de Uber, combine a volta com o motorista, pois pode ser difícil conseguir transporte no local.
